Nia Domo

The Foundation Nia Domo, which means “our house”, was commissioned by the municipality and pastoral councils on July 20, 1958 to realise a new community centre. Numerous expansions, re-developments and renovations then followed, such as the foyer (1962), restaurant (1975), bowling (1981), large meeting hall (1986) and the bowling café in 1997. Forty years after its establishment, Nia Domo is a functional meeting- and party-centre for the heart of the community of Boekel and the surrounding region.
